❤️. FYI I am lucky enough to get some beauty samples that are sent as press samples. Most of the products I review are purchased by me. Compensation of any kind is never accepted in exchange for a positive review. All opinions are 100% mine.

Sandra!! I’m 19 years old and going through quite a rough time in my life right now. Finding your channel is a blessing. So much positivity and it’s inspiring me to stay strong and become my best self. Thank you ❤️

Glad to hear that Arthur is doing better. My husband and I just sold our large family home and downsized to an apt. We have gotten rid of so much stuff. It feels really liberating. So now I only purchase things I truly love. Purchasing less but better quality clothing, healthier foods, and more eco friendly products.

I started on this minimalist journey about 6 years ago and I couldn’t be happier. Honestly the last time I bought something for myself in 5 years were 2 pairs of slippers and 1 pair of shoes. Simple and minimalist life equals to a beautiful and joyful life🥰

I started only keeping things that "sparked joy". High heels were the death of me early on in my 20's. Just couldn't manage the pain. Now it's about comfort with class. I now only own a few purses that don't get in the way (crossbody). I love nightgowns for summer & pajamas in winter (live on the coast). I spend on good quality sheets & bedding, vitamins without fillers in them, high quality foods, hair & skin products! What more can a gal need? Good content Sandra as usual.

I’m days away from being 49 and I sincerely hope I look as FAB as you do when I’m 82. Best wishes to you both and I hope your husband is doing well.🌺🌺🌺🌺🌸🌸🌸

Thank you Sandra . I hated giving up my stilettos!! But I get to keep bad knees now. Oh but i looked Good! I probably wont buy a lot of anything anymore. I've taken 9 complete car loads to a thrift shop in an effort to not be like my parents and leave everything for their kids to get rid of. Everytime I shop & think I need something I visualize my kids dumping everything in a dumpster. Helps!

Its funny how life is, now that I'm older I stopped buying a lot of things I use to buy. One thing I still can't stop buying is handbags but I don't buy them as often and I donate one when I get a new one. Definitely don't miss stockings, Life is much easier with less clutter. 🙂♥️

Yes, we all have got enough neutrals. And also, in those difficult days, everybody feels like wearing more colours. It boosts one's morale, it brings a smile to your face and to perfect strangers' one . "Oh, what a lovely fuchsia you"re wearing ! ". We definitely need colours !

PS I don’t buy bras anymore, haven’t for the past 15 years. I just wear the kind you pull over your head or bandeaus.

I’m a nightgown girl too, my criteria is they must be 100% cotton!

Fashion has changed a lot over time and I had to laugh 😂 when you mentioned matching bags and shoes, I still remember doing that! My list would be basically the same as yours, apart from short skirts that I still wear very occasionally as parts of specific outfits, always with black tights and knee-high boots or ankle boots. I don’t live in a hot climate! Keep well.

I like your list, Sandra! No heels for me; I had a lifetime's-worth in my 20s & 30s. I was around when pantyhose were introduced(!) & was relieved when they went out of fashion. Jumpsuits or rompers were banished from my life decades ago after the 1st visit to a public restroom. I never was a trendy gal; handmade artsy pieces called to me. No flip-flops for me; I have to have good arch support & there are wonderful sandals I prefer. Enjoyed your list! Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY

I have way too many bags too!! I was a hairdresser in the 70's, we all wore stilletos and stood and cut hair all day long! Can't imagine how we all did that!! Say flip flops 10 times real fast!! Love you Sandra!!

Agree! Agree! Agree! But that comes with maturity, knowing yourself and what’s important.

Glad to hear Arthur is doing better😊! Before the pantyhose remember nylons with a garter belt? I detested having to wear that. Then when the pantyhose came along it was a little better, but I’m 76 now and can’t remember the last time I wore them. What a relief!

I really enjoyed listening to your list because it's the same as mine (hadn't really thought about it before you mentioned it). However, my reasons for eliminating the purchase is a bit different than yours. Firstly, I've always worn natural fibers mainly because I have very sensitive skin and natural fibers are kinder than synthetics even though I see beautiful things that I want, but after finding out they're made with synthetic fibers I avoid them. I don't wear flip-flops because I have really bad feet probably because of the pointy toed, high heeled shoes I wore when I was younger which, of course, are no longer in my closet. As far as handbags, in the winter I use black, in the summer I use white, was really never one to match my shoe color because my shoes were either black or white (how boring I am). I have two jewelry boxes full of precious metals and stones. The only pieces of costume jewelry I have are three bracelets; one is an absolutely gorgeous vintage Napier charm bracelet loaded with Chinese charms; the other two are very similar Juicy Couture chain bracelets (with six different chains), one in gold and the other silver. I'm a jeans person, have many pairs of jeans both blue and black, but the main colors I wear are black and white although I do have several boho tops from Johnny Was and they're very colorful. I never wear short skirts although that's all I did wear when I was young (73 now). As far as pajamas go, I've always worn nightgowns, which to me are more comfortable. Frankly, I haven't thought of pantyhose in years and haven't had a pair for at least the last 40 years. One more thing I will add to this list. Although I've tried them, I only wear wire-free bras as the wires really are uncomfortable to me. That's it, that's my list.
