You’re not old, you’re growing up and maturing. I have 3 children in their 30’s and I see the same behavior in them. And believe me, they all really “enjoyed” their 20’s. Congratulations! Looking back on my life, I think the 30’s are the best years. You’re still young but not immature. People will take you more seriously as well. If you were my daughter, I would be very proud of you!

Guys, there will come a time when you realize you have finally enough money to afford that dream car. Don't. Do. It. Get something cheap until that dream car only represents a tiny percentage of your net worth, then you can get it.

One thing the pandemic taught me is that while I LOVE makeup, I don't need to keep buying items just because they are on sale. I only wait to buy an item if I am out of it now. I am being more sustainable AND saving money.

I'm about to be 26 and the pandemic has got me thinking really hard on this topic. I've stopped buying food outside which has saved me 75% of expenses.

In my 30s, I no longer buy stuff that doesn’t need replacing. Like headphones and clothes. If they aren’t broke I’m not buying

This is a great video about how we're all victims of marketing--making us feel like we're not good enough with who we are or what we got, and that we have to consume, consume, consume to become our best selves.I wish I could go back and explain this to my adolescent and young adult self.

I'm so glad I found you! Fast fashion is something I've definitely given up as I turned into late 20s. It's just not worth it. I've also given up:

1. Super fancy skincare (I invest in the essentials)
2. Regular salon visits (home DIYs are excellent)
3. Looking at malls/cafes as the only way to kill time (and a shitload of money) on a weekend

Funny.. I don't buy any of these things but I'm still broke 😂😭

As a fellow YouTuber I really felt the “I only do my makeup and hair for you guys” moment

When I was in my 20s, I used to go out to the bar/clubs every weekend, throw money away on drinks, go out to eat all the time, buy boba every other day. I spend most of my money now on bills, groceries, and investments. I save a little to splurge on once in awhile to go out to eat on occasion but that's about it.

I am 31. Something I will no longer buy or buy as often in my 30s are concert tickets. I have seen all of my favorite artists in my 20s. My goals for 30s is definitely to increase my travel budget. I also want to invest in better work wardrobe once Covid is over with.

Wow Rose, I really resonate with you on a lot of those now that I’m in my late 20s. Especially on high cost beauty treatments like eyelash extension and gel manicure. After quarantine, I realize I’m just fine without them and they are definitely costly in terms of time and money. I wonder how much I could have saved these years if I didn’t get them done so regularly. Also, I really agree with the makeup part too. Guess I’m at the right trajectory ☺️☺️

I really need to make a video about this as well.

There are many things that I'm no longer willing to spend money on in my 30s that I though was cool in my 20s.

I'd rather buy stocks over most consumer items!
