I totally agree for the costume jewellery! I look back and when I think about all the money I spent on it just to wear it for a few months before it turned my skin green, I can't believe I was so stubborn and didn't learn my lesson back then! Also, would love to see an updated capsule wardrobe tour (always love those, maybe I'm too nosy?) :-) hope you're doing well and take care!

I used to feel the same way about notebooks! I’ve bought so many over the years; and if it was a particularly beautiful one, I wouldn’t even want to write in it. Makes no sense! Silly me 😀. Great video!

Thanks Carmen. I have not stopped buying wired bra many years ago. And when I needed to replace the old ones, I went to one of the sustainable bra makers you recommended and was very happy with them.

I stopped buying books at all (unless it's non-fiction and I can go back to it). Libraries all offer free ebooks and eaudiobooks and obviously just have normal books too. Books that I haven't read yet I've kept but will then donate (probably to the library). I had a 6ft by 7ft bookshelf full of books and now I have a couple of small piles! Libraries are the best place on earth.

Thanks Carmen! Always love your videos :) do you still use the same makeup products as in your "get ready with me" video from a year ago?
I tend to invest a bit more in good quality lipsticks (otherwise they come off after 5 mins) but have never found a mascara that doesn't drop, no matter the price :/ I'll have to give the Superdrug one a go when I finish my current one, thanks for the recommendation!

I had no idea that perfumes contain animal derivatives! I would never have even thought to consider it.

I buy tubing mascara that's more expensive. For me it's worth it because it's so much easier to get off, there is no tugging on my skin. And it saves on make up remover so maybe it evens out 🙂

I have G cups...there is NOTHING without wire that holds them up, I get backaches if I don't wear wire🥺 I no longer wear polyester clothing though, and try to go for only recycled natural fibers: cotton, wool, silk, linen😁👍
