Running Form Before and After: Anterior Pelvic Tilt

This is a client that I work with in my running coaching practice: Here's what she had to say.
"Before I met Janet I had broken my leg, been in a boot twice, torn my labrum, and had more strained and pulled muscles than you could count. After meeting Janet I have been injury free. She did a complete makeover on my running form and training plan. Between my new efficient form and training plan, better understanding of my body, and more balanced lifestyle with her guidance I am consistently PRing every time I race. Whether you're on a US National team or just looking to be more active, you have something to learn from Janet. Not to mention she is the kindest, most caring, hard working, and smartest coach you will find." Avery Niemann

She is running at a slower pace in the first clip. Heel strike is totally normal at that pace. If anyone checks their tread wear it should be outside heel to toe off (big toe). If she were sprinting heel strike would be a problem but she isn't.

looks very natural and smooth in 1st clip. 2nd looks more stiff, also speed is completely different and cadence so they are not really comparable. More to the point i would not say she has much anterior pelvic rotation. looks pretty straight to me, just a slight curve in back which is how the spine works

I couldn’t have improved my running without running coach Janet Runyan! I struggled with endless injuries until she fixed my form!

This is valuable! Would have loved a side by side. I watched a few times to notice the differences and improvements

Interesting vid thx for uploading! Question, is it my imagination or did her stride length decrease in the second half? Not that that is a bad thing I think it just struck me as counter intuitive. Thx!

The arms barely move. The shouders do. The cadence is too high now (200bpm?) but the stride isn't longer than before. IMO she should rum around 175 bpm and lift the front leg knees higher for a longer stride. Thats more efficient than running like in a cartoon with small steps. But the video is 4 years old. It doesnt matter.
