How to Make a Walking Trails Quilt, Simple Strip Piecing, Many Layouts, Fast Baby Quilt, Free Video

Hello Everyone!

Here are the details for this red, white and blue Walking Trails Quilt. I used 2 1/2" WOF strips to make strip sets. There were 24 Blue, 24 Red and 12 White/Light strips to make 12 strip sets. I cut my squares into 10" x 10" (you'll see the reason why in the video!) Each block finished 12 3/4" x 12 3/4". I made 24 blocks and laid out my quilt 4 across by 6 down. Next I added a 2 1/2" white inner border and a 5" outer border in the red from the quilt. This red fabric was used for the binding as well.

With the extra fabrics, I was able to make a BONUS project! I added a navy blue 4 1/2" border and striped binding.

My pretty Walking Trails Quilt finished at approximately 63" x 87". The stunning Walking Trails wall hanging finished at approximately 34" x 34". 😁
