There's literally a show of what happens to her after the movie, and she ends up having her hair grow back. She didn't lose her powers, her hair was just an easier access to use it. In the end of the movie her tear literally healed Eugene, meaning it wasn't just her hair that was magic. But rather she was a vessel of the magic 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just so you guys know, what they were looking at was from a show called Once Upon a Time that does twist on fairy tales. This is not from Disney or the Tangled movie, it’s just a plot twist from Once Upon a Time
