Courage the cowardly dog is the scariest cartoons I have ever watch when I was a kid I watched an episode of a monster that crawled throught the underground it made a jump scare and it scares me so much that I can't sleep for 3 days my parents comfort me every night for like a week still shivers...

I heard another theory that the dog imagined his owner and they were long dead. It was out of attachment and guilt that he couldn't save them that he imagined them getting into trouble and he saving them.
