Immediate Whitetail Rut Weather Alert!

The weather forecast and the rut forecast combine to create the perfect marriage of deer hunting opportunity! During late October and early November the rut amps up to incredible proportions to provide bowhunters with the perfect hunting opportunities. The next 2 weeks of weather forecast creates all that you need to successfully navigate this year's whitetail rut and here are the tips to help you understand when to sit in your favorite stand because the conditions are perfect, or when to sit in your least favorite stand because the conditions aren't quite the best. Always match the quality of your potential treestand with the level of quality of the weather forecast. Great weather equals a great rut stand and poor weather equals your worst choice for a stand.

Ok! I have to rave! HuntWise told me October 15 was a great day to hunt with my son. He shot his first buck. HuntWise told me tonight was going to be great and sure enough I got close to my target buck just before sunset. I’m loving this!!! Sunday I’m hoping to seal the deal- thanks for this app and the great videos! They completely changed my experiences in our woods!

Just switched to huntwise from basemap after seeing you talk about it Jeff. Definitely a great app. I went away from huntwise here in PA a while ago because my area didn't show land ownership. That all changed now and its updated. You just saved my treestand because I was about to go in there Saturday and the wind is showing totally wrong. Monday it is. Thanks again. Deer movement is at night on my cameras right now but seeing new bucks every day.

NorthWest Indiana Jeff! This morning I had a consistent 3 year old show up at 7:45, first daylight buck in a long time! Hopeful the shooters I’ve gotten who have been nocturnal follow suit...I’ll be out AM and PM the rest of this next 7-10 days but no all day sits until you say it’s worth it!
