Couldn’t agree with you more Jeff. I’ve hunted in urban areas using scents that attracted deer (mostly doe) all the time, but using those same scents in the big woods of Vermont didn’t perform as expected. In fact it did the exact opposite. Didn’t see anything, not even a tail waving bye bye. I tried it multiple times in my youth hunting up there in different setups with the same results. Seemed like it made everything run for the hills. Thanks for all the great content, keep on keeping on!

Jeff, we just bought our first property in Va 85 acres.Took 6 months to close. We closed on august 14. Been watching your vids for years. With limited time we were able to get mock scrapes on defined trails leading to ag on north border, 2 food plots, and 4 stands with killer access on any wind. Excited about this season but also looking forward to having next year to be more prepared. 40 years ago i had a pully and string at my favorite stand with a string and alligator clip which i would hang a cotton ball with tinks 69 on it then run it out 30yards or so, that way i didn't have to go tromping overthere and leave scent. It kinda worked until a treebranch fell and tore it down. Lol. Oh! The stuff we've all tried over the years, fun to think about the hard learned lessons. Lol

New to hunting this past season and watched several of your mock scrape videos. Just set up my first mock scrape today(it’s maybe a touch high haha…) and had my two target bucks come through and hit it in about 2 hours! 🙌🏾💪🏾

I loved your deer pee story. I have been there before and sometimes start second guessing myself when I'm not seeing deer that I need to go buy the next best scent out there. These videos assure me i don't need to be wasting my money on some of this stuff. My biggest focus is getting into the woods and up my stand w/o leaving my personal scent.

Morning Jeff! So our big destination food plot is in front of my Mom and Dads house! It is screened off but during the evenings Dad has to let the dogs out to use the bathroom! Do you think deer are bothered by that? Dad probably gets tired of me always stressing about that

The 2nd year i had a vine hanging per your suggestion they somehow broke a foot of it.i was amazed. I put a new one up for this year n this will be the 3rd.year n alot of deer hit these.they sure work.i never use scent.i play the wind n weather.

I used scent many years ago and I had a buck come in and I had estrus gel out and when he came close to hitting it he turned and high tailed it out of there I believe it was the scent and that spoked him so I never used scent again and I have been fairly successful.
