Fixing the Bambu Lab

I had to replace the rattling motherboard fan and fix a cable for the Bambu Lab X1C 3D printer. Luckily it wasn't hard and quite fun to do. Now I also have the AMS hub with more colors.

I made the mistake of taking the heat sink off and destroying the board when reinstalling it. I thought the screws were lined up for the heat sink but I was off a bit and ended up grinding a capacitor or ??? which killed one of the motor drivers. Was so mad at my self for rushing it and my gut told me I probably didn’t need to remove the heat sink… I told Bambu Labs what I did and asked how I could order/buy a replacement board, they generously sent me one for free….

Im glad you made it without breaking the printer. Not wearing grounding straps, dropping pieces, and using force is the worst possible thing to do with any sort of electronic

I hope Bambu keeps improving their products. Things like this shouldn't happen or be as tedious to replace. A void label, really?

Really impossible to change bearings on bambu, cuz tge rods are glued with epoxy to the corexy carrige?

Using double sided tape, or any adhesive for that matter to attach a fan is the worst way you could do it. Kinda disappointed that they chose that avenue. Definitely not made with serviceability in mind.

Well you can use a noctua fan, they made some mods, it seems they are too loud and they don't last a long time
