You've produced several videos on the Bambu Lab printer that have been useful to me, and I just wanted to say thanks.

A few suggestions, do the cleaning of fans and extruder before other maintenance. This will avoid getting crap on your newely cleaned and lubricated z rods, camera, fiber rods, etc. just makes sense, rough messy stuff always first. Appreciate your video, just reorient the sequence of steps.

Good job on the video. I will not be using paper towels though, I will be using microfiber towels. Thank you for posting this video. I just got my first printer 3 days ago and I'm trying to learn all I can. I got the X1 Carbon and so far I absolutely love it.

I watch this video every time I maintain my X1C thank you so much for the great videos. I would appreciate it if you added sections to your videos especially this one, so we can quickly navigate to the different steps! I love your simple and easy presentation style and your obvious vast knowledge of 3d printing.

This video got you a like and subscribe. With this machine being the “first 3D printer” for many users, I was surprised no one had done this already.

Thx for the guide. I have the X1 Carbon printer for a year at this point and have been casually using it. Truth be told I havent thought about actually maintaining it, but I am going to order the items you used and give my printer the care it deserves.

I love that translucent extruder, mine is black and I had to take it apart 2 times to remove a piece of filament.

To the point, no BS'ing around.. Love the video, including the embedded humor :)
I would also look at the fans, as they can collect dust.. Note: unplug if you want to use air cleaning, I learned that the hard way when a driver transistor on the mainboard fried.. Just wipe the blades down, he he :D

Definitely DO NOT spray IPA or any other cleaning agent onto the rods, spray onto a cloth and then wipe. Spraying in the enclosure results in covering the belts (rubber and alcohol don't mix, will dry out and crack), covering the linear Y rods and removing all the grease from inside which you can't repack, spraying onto the rods is terrible advice unfortunately. Follow Bambu's maintenance guides to prevent damaging your machine. Also probably best not to use oil on the lead screws, oil can run down the screw and into the stepper motor below (very bad), again there is a reason why Bambu specify grease and not oil 😵‍💫
