People might look at you while swimming but within a few seconds they are thinking about something else. Our attention span is so short sometimes they are looking past you and in their thoughts but happen to be looking in your direction but not really at you so don't worry.

That is such great advice. I think this will really help me . I’ve been worrying about a swim event . I’m very new to learning correct freestyle. As I improve I’m completely loving the feeling in the water . I just need to control that anxiety that still appears . I’ll practice gratitude and concentrate on the fact I love the feeling of being able to swim . Thanks again .
