I'm going to caulk some gaps in white wood trim, and I was thinking of using painter's putty, and tried a bit since I was filling nail holes anyway. The caulk is much better for this, so some of us watching appreciate this. Thanks.

This video is ancient shows how fast time flys bye though just to mention if I have door trim that I will be installing & if it is off bit I generally take caulking apply good amount on the joints inside then line up the trim nail it in place wipe off excess turns out nice..

If you understood that this is a video concerning paint prep, you might not be pointing out something that was done by the trim carpenter, not the painter. Just saying.

well technically a professional decorator would never use caulk for filling in this gaps, you should be using proper filler for it to last and do it properly. caulking is only needs to the edge or frames and skirts as it needs to be flexible.
