⬅ Equip yourself with all the knowledge you need to get to full anxiety recovery! power

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For many dealing with anxiety issues it feels like the only thing that is holding them back from their anxiety recovery is their anxiety symptoms. We obsess over our body and experience all kinds of sensations that mimic a real physical illness. The shallow breathing, chest tightness, a racing or pounding heart combined with numbness in the left arm all point towards a heart attack for example! These sensations feel so real, especially during the first few panic attacks, that we believe that there is no possible way that it can really be from anxiety alone.
We rush to get tests done, research all we can about some possibly rare disease all so that we can get some mental clarity and can logically explain ourselves what is going on.
The thing is that we get turned down from doctors saying that we are fine BUT that relief doesn’t feel satisfying and we are still stuck in a limbo between trusting the anxiety diagnosis and the worry that there might still be something that hasn’t been checked out yet. We feel stuck and don’t know how to get that answer we so crave, all while we want nothing more than to make the physical sensations stop!
Because of this we are stuck in this cycle to find shorts burst of relief and, feeling a bit better and then going back to feeling anxious again. Over time we seem not to make any progress and often feel worse than when it all started. We feel depressed, tired, hopeless…
In this video I will share a small mindset change and the steps that I took to finally fully recover from anxiety and all its symptoms.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As always I hope that this video helps you understand what is going on during these very normal anxiety recovery steps.

Hopefully you will feel more at ease and can concentrate on the more important parts of anxiety recovery. Which I describe in more detail here in this playlist:

There you go again!!! Helping people everywhere with their anxiety. I too spent the better part of 5 years in the vicious cycle of panic and anxiety. You helped me more than any doctor I went to and believed me I saw them all. I found you early on and watched you faithfully. I have recovered now but still love coming back to listen to you. Thank you!

Thank you for stopping by and I do hope that you liked the video and found it helpful :)

I also want to add here that I am by far no medical professional and just a guy who has recovered from anxiety sharing his story.
I in no way believe that I can replace professional counseling or a doctor. And the things I mention in the videos are just how I personally dealt with anxiety and how I "name" certain sensations and actions. With the growing subscriber count, I kinda feel the need to clarify that :)

You are absolutely class. The first half of this video, describing your old habits I was like wow that has been me for 11 months straight. I’m having therapy for trauma and doing a lot of work on my mental state and guess what.. I had two normal days with some, but minimal pain. That was like a beacon of hope that I’m slowly recovering. Then I just read some girls horrific ME story and I’m freaking out again. Then I came in to YouTube and your video popped up. I feel calm again. In pain..but calm. I know this is my anxiety and long term stress response. I’ll get better one day. You sir are a legend. Please keep doing what you do

I am recovering. Probably the longest I’ve been without profound symptoms. I used to have two week episodes of feeling great/recovered, then I feel a symptom, and go right back to super anxious state and my discomfort comes back for like another month. It’s been about 3 weeks now and symptoms aren’t popping up like they used to. They are of far less intensity.

Honestly, I figured out the root cause of my anxiety, the emotional trauma that started it all back during the summer. I began to make peace with it, and vowed to work on it. And over time (it wasn’t overnight) I think my mind accepted this and knew I was going to be alright...if I take care of that emotional trauma. The trauma being jobless, penniless during the pandemic, and getting hit with MASSIVE hospital bills during the summer from an ER stay back in Jan of 2020. I was going through a huge financial crisis, which caused psychological turmoil in me, and caused my anxiety. Took me a while to figure that out. It was my subconscious being scared of the fact I have no money, the #1 resource needed to live a decent life and deal with bills. It was my mind telling me, “YOU ARE NOT PREPARED IN LIFE. You need money to survive!! START GETTING SOME!!”

I finally have job interviews lined up, and meditated on the notion I WILL find a job. It seems like my mind is accepting this new mindset and is calming itself down, knowing money will be on the way soon.

Guys like you, Trey Jones, and Cherelle Jordan all helped me so much. Regular people who’ve been through this, far worse than a lot of us here, and overcame it.

We don’t see doctors have videos like this online, because I’m sure 99% of doctors haven’t been through health anxiety. So having regular people talk about this, is a godsend for the rest of us. It’s a lot of inspiration.

Just know, someone out there is early on in their health anxiety phase, or deep in it, and are scouring the internet for help and guidance. They may come across your videos at some point. Just know you ARE helping others out there, me being one of them!!

Admire your work brother. I think Charles Linden is correct in saying that all anxious people have high creative intellect. No one ever mentions that aspect being the root cause of all anxiety disorders. Learning new skills and occupying our incredible brains is incredibly important in recovery. Keep up the amazing content!

Yes this is the answer. Great post. I know its hard but you must go through the symptoms Your fear centre in the brain only learns by experience, not by reading, searching and thinking. You need to go out there and show the brain the fear is not required and it will switch off. It is hard to do at first but stick with it. It takes time so be patient but dont be discouraged. The goal is not to be free of fear response (no one has this it is wired into humans via fight or flight), the goal is to show fear does not matter and to be comfortable with it. It takes effort, courage and strength but you can do this I promise 👊

I'm deeply grateful for your videos. Before coming across your channel, I had convinced myself that I had an underlying issue. I would search for any excuse, especially when dealing with a blocked nose, which only made matters worse. My symptoms began after a particularly intense exercise session, and ever since then, I've been experiencing these attacks. Your videos have truly made a meaningful difference in my life.

What bothers me the most is this off-balance feeling I get 24/7. It’s so irritating and frustrating, I just want to feel like I’m walking normally again. Its been a little more than 3 months since it started. 😫😫

I have been having rolling panic attacks at this job change/move out of state. It took me three weeks to realize that the Canadian wildfires are causing my asthma to constrict my breathing... which caused me to eat less... and I started to shake. I ate food and told myself that this is all about my asthma. Now I am better.

I had what I now know was a panic attack about 2 months ago, I thought I was dying… I was so restless after and couldn’t relax, the next day I had another 4. I didn’t know what was going on, vibrating, cramping, racing heart rate. The days after we’re horrible and I was told I was going through a panic ‘hangover’. Constantly on edge, tension everywhere. Checking pulse every 5 mins.
These videos have helped me tremendously! To look at it logically and see it for what it is.
Thankyou
