So technically smite is a 10, if the only con is late game balance which isn't even true and I guess she never played any other MOBA on a competitive level.. Fenrir 3 shotting a support late game? Maybe a under leveled non tanky support. Smites god balance works like any other MOBA in the sense certain gods are stronger early game but fall off while others start out weaker and get stronger.. Anyways if anybody is deciding whether or not to play this.. DO IT! When Smite first released in beta I thought it had an amazing concept but bad execution. Over the time of working on the game it's definitely turned into my favorite MOBA by far. You never experienced a teamfight till you have played Smite. It's chaotic. In a good way.

If you're thinking of playing this, you should at least try. The reviewers thought on this game were somewhat false. This game is completely, and I mean completely free to play. If you don't believe me, go try the game. Hi Rez is being very generous by hosting gem weekends (gems are the currency you can purchase), or that the 6th and 7th day logging on consecutively gives gems also. It's also not a pay to win game. The part when she stated that Fenrir can 3 shot a support is completely false unless he is 10 levels ahead. It is clearly seen in the video, that she was not 3 shot to death. Also she didn't play a god not fit for the support role. Zeus is classified as a mage that does not contain a bunch of defense. The part of the VGS and that she stated it is quicker to type something, is also false. If you take the time to learn only the required ones, make it super quick to say things. It's a 3-4 button combination that is intuitively quick to press. Also if you are joining now, there are a larger variety of gods and much more. I don't completely disagree with the reviewer. The late game balance issues, are only if they have all late game gods. In all MOBA's there are characters that drop off late game due to their scaling or something of that matter. Each god has there strong point sometime in the match. Early game, mid game, and late game. Smite is a great game and is a great choice. There are huge changes made into season 2 but aside from that, 9.8/10

Just a few flaws in the gameplay. She really didn't have enough time with the game. She missed a ton of shots which would suggest she didn't get used to it yet. Didn't pick up the VGS system which is somewhat okay. She still had auto-buy which shows that she didn't take the time to try new builds (now the auto builds are pretty accurate for each god). The lack of game experience must've made the result of a lower score, as she didn't see all of the game. This review was somewhat one sided in my opinion. It should've been reviewed by someone with more experience but isn't completely biased. Or just take the time with the game.

I played it on Ps4... I never thought this game would be a lot of fun, I tried with LOL and it was a terrible experience for me, but this game, the teamwork, gods, gameplay and modes, it was great. I´m not a big fan of these types game, but I think I finally found the MOBA game for me.

I feel like this game deserves at least a 9 :P it was great but now the LoL community is shifting to this game and starting to ruin it with messages like surrender at 10, uninstall the game or generally harrassing people all match long even if they have the worst kd in the match.

This is a completely different game now. Like most MOBAs (snowball meta) comes as goes as balance changes happen. It has so many more gods and look encradle these days. It is crazy that there has never been an updated review for a game with such a large player base 10 years later. @IGN

Well you have to consider that Fenrir is an assassin, while support gods, are well, support gods. "Late game Issues" aren't really "issues". Of course the assassin will 3 hit the squishy mage when fed, thats a part of MOBAs

Truly a bad review. Truly a great game.
If you're not convinced of playing this, you can play as a monkey who turns into a bird and jump on a cloud to become immune. Or a nazgul that drags all enemies closer to him and can burrow underground. And many other badass characters.

Smite is a great moba. I like it more then your standard moba games (like LoL or DotA). The communty is really great and nice to eachother, although since release I have seen a fair amount of BM'r and rude people. Hopefully it wont increase
