i’ve gone from essentially only logging in to get the free diamonds to playing just a few games per day. it has improved exponentially in the past 2 weeks alone, and i have hope that the game is going to continue improving as time goes on. all i’m waiting for now are my familiar playthings, which will come in time

Tbh I am enjoying Smite 2 at least x10 times more than S1

I’m having a lot more fun in Smite 2. The scoreboard being added with some detailed stats made it feel a lot more rewarding.

The main issue I have with SMITE 2 rn is that you can't play tank. You have to build damage minus like Odin who's a true warrior building some of both. I'm a guardian main so barely touching 300 prots if at all just feels wrong give the overwhelmingly damage focus.

My only real gripe with the game rn is that I can’t play characters that I want to play in the role I want to play (Solo is just Anubis-Baron-Ama every game and I don’t enjoy those characters), so I gotta for fun it in casuals. Character variety is crucial and I’m exited that they are at least announcing “50 by January”. I am a bit sceptical about the feasibility of this goal, but I don’t have access to the internal workings of HiRez so I remain cautiously optimistic😊

I was scared away from the poor Matchmaking, no matches who were one side weren't compety dominated and/or have to doe with one or more quitter. I totally understand that good Matchmaking should give you a 50% win chance but this wasn't fun for either side. Just about to finish the current Smite one Battle Pass after that I'll give SMITE 2 a try.

100% agree. Ive been getting back into a couple of games a night routine and its been a blast. Not perfect but genuinely 10x better than the first alpha or even the first 24/7 alpha patch. 50 gods in a couple of months and its going to feel even better.

Smite 2 has definitely been fun to watch when you stream it, but there's a lot of familiarity that Smite 1 has that I dont feel from Smite 2 for some reason. I can't really put it into words because I don't understand really why. Maybe its something that I have to get used to with time put into the game or when more gods are made playable. 🤷‍♀

I have made an effort to play at least a game or two from each CA update. I feel like CA4 got me excited again. I was full hype during the initial alpha weekends and even got the ultimate founders edition (although I had very limited success as my pc is not up to spec enough to play and would freeze during most fights, had to play very passive). But my most recent matches have felt significantly better both in performance and match making. Seeing some of your streams and how much better your graphics look compared to mine also brings me a lot of hope and shows me that when it is ready, smite 2 will be great. I have been absolutely loving Herc, and am excited to see how Ra feels later.

Couldn’t agree more. I am excited to play every day, the limited god pool has encouraged me to try new gods (1500 hours in smite 1 and have never played neith, Baron or loki before Smite 2) and the last 2 patches have significantly improved matchmaking for me.

We are in a good spot and it’s only up from here, seems like we are improving %10 or more each week at the moment which is a wild place.

Smite 2 has always felt good to me like you said. It really feels more fun that S1. Yeah it doesn’t really feel complete but it feels like it’s on the right track to becoming really good. I already think the alpha has been a success so far

I was a big time doomer, and the game feels nice to play. Still not there yet to play a LOT like I was on smite 1 but it really improved. I still think by January/Feb/March the game will be in a really good state

I'd be playing but every time I get paid I barely have enough left over from getting other stuff to make the investment. I see the sentiment shifting, I'm hoping this video does well to spread the word the game's been on an expedient turn around.
