Tbh I think Romulus was pretty chill with being deposed. Got to spend his life with an insane retirement benefit in a beautiful villa near Naples far away from government duties and court intrigues. He is literally the only Roman Emperor who lost power without getting killed or humiliated for life (alongside Diocletian, although he left the purple by choice)
