I don't want to be that guy who nerds out in the comments,
but gaul wasn't very united, caesar allied himself with a lot of gaul tribes, and germanic tribes, effectively meaning he only fought like 50% or less of what we consider gaul, I don't want to downplay his achievement, but the popular idea that he fought and conquered the entirety of gaul with a bunch of legions completely alone is actually more a caesar fanfiction often made by people during and after the augustus era (to make caesar look like a god, and in turn augustus as the heir to this god)
