Okay for everyone who still doesn't get it. He was leaning over his folding third row seat to grab his tennis gear when it flipped and trapped him, he was nowhere near his phone and used Siri to call 911. He called once and the call was initially ignored. He called again, told them the address and what kind of van it was. The police went there and drove around (did not leave their car to search more thoroughly), and left after 11 minutes. So it is extremely disrespectful the way people are talking about how he didn't give good enough instructions. He told the address and what kind of car and he was IGNORED until he called again (might I remind you he was currently suffocating), only for them to drive around for 10 minutes and leave. He was nowhere near his phone, he could not hear a word the dispatcher was saying and that was the best he could really do in that horrible situation. The dispatcher was not wrong for not clearly understanding at first, the dispatcher was WRONG for ignoring the first call and the police were wrong for not trying harder.

Thats sad asf the kid was calm as he'll "I'm dying just tell my mom I love her send help if u can" I mean he was speaking more clear on a 911 call than ive ever heard anyone speak and he was dying like if that 911 dispatcher was in his shoes she would be freaking out expecting them to save her ass immediately

This is so brutal. I never cry from sad news stories, but this one broke me down. I sobbed after hearing this poor kid. I'm gonna remember him and remind myself how lucky I've been.

What the actual F! I’m pretty sure I could find the seven hills parking lot and I’m in AZ! If this was my child I would be fuming! Why couldn’t they find him? We tell our kids to call 911 in case of emergency and that’s what he did and they failed! He was probably so relieved when he realized he could call thinking they’d save him and then what? Awful. My heart broke when he said tell my mom I love her. Poor poor kid. Praying for his family
