This was top notch professionalism on all fronts. The kid was such a lad and showed exactly how to conduct yourself with cops. Crazy how adults 3x his age can act crazy with cops even when it's the slightest of things like a busted tail light.

My kid plays these games and screams so loud I run into his room thinking he’s hurt. He’s 18 and he gets excited I’m glad this young man heard them before they busted in because my son wears headphones. I also want to commend this young man for being so polite. Great job kiddo 🤙🏽

They sound like SUCH a nice and loving family, even the mom over the phone was and felt positive in this situation. Felt like there was no tension at all between the family and the police department, or the son and mom. Love to see it.

the best part about this interaction is the fact that they didn't try to find something to get him for once they realized it was a mistake, they just made sure nothing was wrong and said "have a nice day"
