The taxpayers paid the settlement, the city admitted no wrongdoing, and cops were not held accountable. This is yet another fine example of how law enforcement needs to be drastically changed.

The issue with all of these payouts is that the cops aren't paying a dime. End qualified immunity and these abuses will essentially stop.

The city doesn't need to admit fault. The $57, 000 payment says the words that city officials are too cowardly to utter.

"Admitted no fault", well the money speaks for itself doesn't it

Suspicion is not a crime. Neither is recording the police.

If they admit fault then they have to dismiss the officers because they violated their oath to uphold the constitution. The fact that they won’t admit fault should be deeply concerning to every American citizen who values their rights.

People need to demand officer punishment, department admitting fault or no settlement.

Admitted no fault…..they just give away $57000 out of the goodness of their hearts 😂

Not a bad payday. Its why i would always just be calm even if i had done nothing. If you do no wrong you have a chance to be paid.

Imagine being arrested for a "suspicion"! Whatever happened to investigating a situation before committing to an arrest? Without a proper investigation, it's safe to say that these officers did not do their jobs! We really need to raise the Common Sense bar of expectation for our officers! Perhaps we need to raise the education level required to be an officer, too!

So Unnecessary .... one of the cops says to the person they are wrongfully arresting, as if it is her fault!

How can they admit no fault and then pay out $57K

"Suspicion" of trespassing was the best they could come up with for an arrest? That's the legal equivalent of tossing an alley oop for an attorney to slam dunk.

Admitting no fault but paying out $57000. LOL

Of course they admitted no fault their officers never were held accountable either it's because integrity starts at the top

At least she didn't almost die or suffer. That was peaceful. I've seen unnecessary abusive arrests with no payout no justice for the victim and even death..

I find it funny that the people who lose to the system have long videos, yet those who stand up to and ultimately beat the system are given these short videos. I feel like we deserve more bodycam footage from this interaction, from this channel at least

Law enforcement claiming no wrongdoing in the face of their victims winning their cases against them shows their spectacular *contempt* for the law and their victims, which is why they *never* learn.

How could *anyone* trust law enforcement to investigate itself, knowing this is their culture?😳

I’m confused! She was just recording them, and they arrested her???

Cops who get their community sued should be fired.
