The Vader fight seen with Reva (if you can call it that) was basically Vader toying with his food. Vader is and will always be the most terrifying villain in cinematic history. He flexed and broke a ship apart.

Him fighting without a lightsaber was so class

Vader perfectly demonstrated what sidious said. True sith don't need a lightsaber, we use them to mock the jedi

That Star Killer Moment when Vader stops the shuttle from leaving really put a huge smile on my face best episode ever 10/10

Also, I love the way Vader used the Force to pull both halves of Reva's saber to him, and he made almost like this Obi-Wan-like stance when they came into his hands; that was funny to see lol

They did that fight so perfectly, the fact that she couldn't even touch him was amazing

I enjoyed how he took Reva's lightsaber and split them in two and gave her the other as to say ''Here you go, it doesn't matter cuz we both know who is gonna win here''

This was commented elsewhere on Youtube, but what the Anakin flashback has done is logically connected this show to the Episode IV line "when I left you I was but the learner, now I am the master." It's the kind of moment I needed to elevate the show for me.

I actually liked this a lot. Because before, as you said, Vader was always portrayed as just on another level. But with his battles with Luke, I still believe, ge held back. And a lot (which makes sense) since it was his son AND he started doubting The Dark Side. Here we finally see him in his prime and with no restraints

"Like a video game villain you couldn't possibly kill."

So Vader in Fallen Order. Because yes, he was exactly this.

Don’t forget how Vader literally *tore the ship apart* to get inside to find Obi-Wan. We truly haven’t ever seen Vader this powerful in screen before, only in the comics, and DAMN! It was so good to see Vader done right with his power!

This even shows that he could have killed Obi-Wan in seconds when they fought, but instead Vader wanted to torture him for revenge. That’s the only reason he survived that fight.

Imagine if we could get a full movie showing Vader like this, or even a game where we play as Vader hunting Jedi and preforming his duties!

It's hilarious to me that Vader is frustratingly realizing he still has to learn what *General Kenobi* was trying to teach him before he can be granted the rank of master. It gives a lot more meaning to their dialogue in episode 4.

I'm not fully read on the comics but in movies, games, and shows I love the fact that Darth Vader has never canonically lost a fight. In Fallen Order his databank entry says he can't be beaten, that escaping is the only way to survive a direct confrontation with him. The only time he ever "lost" was when he chose to stop fighting Luke in Episode 6. Hopefully it stays that way with any future episodes.

Edit: this comment was made before Kenobi episode 6 btw.

The last four episodes were lacking pretty bad, but man... between him choosing to negotiate, "there are other ways of fighting", them getting his light saber form right, this was the character I remember. It wasn't perfect, but it was a step in the right direction.

Also Anakin needing to prove himself to Obi-Wan is a neat way of reading his character. Like you said with dealing with third sister without a light saber, but also their duel in RoTS, where he tries to pull Kenobi's own trick with Maul against him, only to be completely cut down.

“Yeah. Probably.”

With the decoy ship, i like that even with Vaders immense strength in the force, it was clear he had to really pull very hard to force it back down onto the ground with the engines set to maximum thrust.

I've beaten Vader so many times in the Force Unleashed I and II I've forgotten just how terrifying he really is.

What I love is how smooth his movements are here. When he fights in Kenobi, he dodges, side-steps, and use the force with ease and grace. Past versions (or rather future versions) of Vader are just angry all the time, so his movements are quick, a little clumsy, and forceful. He was a master duelist, but he was always focused on his saber, not so much his body. This wasn’t a fight, it was a dance, and THAT proves how powerful he is. He’s not trying to win, he doesn’t have to because he’s already the better fighter. We never saw that in the original trilogy.

I'd say that Vader holding the water back in the Fortress Inquisitorious in J:FO is his biggest force feat yet. Dude held back almost an ocean planet's worth of water.
The math has been done on this, and Vader successfully holds back many times more weight than starkiller with just one ISD

Vader toying with Reva is as savage as Vader having dinner with Leia, Han, Chewbaka, Boba and lando on robot chicken
