I like how that one guy on the console is like "What the?" when the admiral fell, and after glancing at the monitor is "Oh it's Vader." and just goes back to work.

I love this scene. Everyone is trying desperately to focus on their work, and avoid looking at the guy who is choking to death right next to them.

We learn a lot about Imperial morale and management tactics in just a few minutes. General Veers stood up for a fellow senior officer to try to convince Vader to give him benefit of the doubt. The plee doesn't work, but Vader trusts Veers to proceed with the mission.

So he encourages teamwork and accountability, punishes incompetence, recognizes and promotes talent, and everyone who isn't killed keeps their eyes on the prize.

All these British character actors with very small roles played their parts so well in the Star Wars series, this is a fine example.

Piett was the only high ranking officer who managed to survive Vader's wrath by not messing up too much. Imagine how great that looks on a resume. "Worked under Darth Vader for two films, still alive."

Just love how Vader says “General, prepare your troops for a surface attack” Sounds awesome just how he annunciates it.

I like how General Veers tries very quickly to defend Admiral Ozzel before Vader shuts him down. He knew what was coming and wanted to help a fellow officer get a second chance. Good man.
