Something else I’ve observed in the narcissists in my life is duplicity. They’re like a split personality of sorts. They can be very kind and loving with some and berate others mercilessly.

I finally broke away from a Nacissists wife. I left my home, my kids, and everything we built. It got to the point that I had to tell my kids if I didn't leave I WAS GOING TO DIE. It took me 3 years to re-find myself. The coldness of her actions without empathy of how it affected me or our children was heart wrenching. Fortunately, I was able to hold on long enough for my last kid to graduate. It truly sucks the life out of you to the point you feel like you are literally dying. They also are very good with turning the kids against you to champion their behavior. I pray for those that are living under this type of abuse. It took the LORD sending me to the wilderness so I can hear his voice again and allow HIM to rebuild me (SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY). All three phases were broken.

Whenever you experience sadism be extra cautious. Get out as quickly & quietly as possible… without tipping this individual off. Pay attention to how you feel. Does the hair stand up on the back of your neck??? Is there a whisper of fear??? Pay attention to what your body is telling you. It’s a gift to keep you safe. Whenever you see sadism you’re likely dealing with a possible malignant narcissist. An antisocial personality… psychopath or sociopath. Your life is in danger.
