The ancient fascination with gold is what always puzzles me. The logistics of mining, processing and then making jewelry with gold blows my mind. There is no way ancient people just happened to stumble upon gold worldwide. It had a use that we don’t understand today

The Sumerian hero Gilgamesh traveled the world in search of a way to cheat death. On one of his journeys, he came across an old man, Utnapishtim, who told Gilgamesh a story from centuries past. The gods brought a flood that swallowed the earth.

The gods were angry at mankind so they sent a flood to destroy him. The god Ea, warned Utnapishtim and instructed him to build an enormous boat to save himself, his family, and "the seed of all living things." He does so, and the gods brought rain which caused the water to rise for many days. When the rains subsided, the boat landed on a mountain, and Utnapishtim set loose first a dove, then a swallow, and finally a raven, which found land. The god Ishtar, created the rainbow and placed it in the sky, as a reminder to the gods and a pledge to mankind that there would be no more floods.

Now this clearly reminds us of Noah's Ark that all Abrahmaic faiths follow. Such a flood is also mentioned in the time of Manu in the Hindu texts. Manu was warned by a fish, to whom he had done a kindness, that a flood would destroy the whole of humanity. He therefore built a boat, as the fish advised. When the flood came, he tied this boat to the fish’s horn and was safely steered to a resting place on a mountaintop. When the flood receded, Manu, the sole human survivor, performed a sacrifice, pouring oblations of butter and sour milk into the waters.

In Greek mythology the Titan Prometheus advised his son Deucalion to build a chest. All other men perished except for a few who escaped to high mountains. Deucalion's "ark" landed on Mount Othrys in Thessaly.

The story is actually more elaborate than that. The Annunaki came to earth and 200 of them were sent down to mine for gold (which they would use to break down into dust to spread into their own atmosphere to help with the longevity of their lives on their planet because when the orbit goes further from the sun it gets colder and the gold helps keep heat in.) Anyway, they mined on Earth for a long time, it was many years on their own and they got tired of it. One of them was a scientist and he was basically like…screw this I’m going to make a creature to do this work for us. He saw a Hominid and said, “this is what our ancestors must’ve looked like, it’s very close to us!” So he used the DNA of that Hominid and spliced it with his own to create the human being to mine gold. When he saw that the human being was intelligent and able to learn he started to teach them things, and others taught them a variety of things from astronomy to the use of makeup. They even had sex with them. There was a great division between the Annunaki over the creation of human beings in general.

The first set of humans created they made it so they couldn’t reproduce, but then they thought wouldn’t it be better to have a work force that can produce more workers?

Some of the Annunaki were against this because they feared retribution for the creation of life from the “prime creator”.

Side Note: The Annunaki we’re bigger, stronger, and lived longer lives than the humans they created in the Sumerian Epic of Creation. Humans were also better suited for the earths atmosphere than they were.

The Annunaki came for gold and decided AFTER they were here to try to manipulate the existing life forms to mine FOR them as there were not enough of the Annunaki to do the job quickly enough to save their home planet. They supposedly did not come here for anything other than gold dust, but created us as an after thought.
