It's incredible how you went from being in contractions and pain, crying, giving birth to bawling over THE successful birth of your baby (seeing her), to almost INSTANT mommy mode as soon as she was in your arms. I know there's the after birth euphoria, but holy cow how your gaze locked onto her and like all the pain/process you were just in was gone.
