Love the sly insults the really rich drops on the rich that go over his head... 😅

Always be respectful to wait staff no matter what level of restaurant you're at. They're getting paid to take your order not take your attitude

in San Francisco, the difference between the homeless dudes and the engineering multimillionaires is vanishingly small. you'll see someone with a beard to their toes, hasn't showed in months, drive off in a supercar.

I have an uncle that "really rich" absolutely personifies and it is uncanny the flashbacks I get watching these. One weekend he had just closed about $50Mln in mergers and he met my brother and I at an italian place in chicago wearing khaki shorts, sandals with socks, and just a regular polo. He started a bread fight with my then twelve year old brother lol. Love that man, and I love how well these videos remind me of my own extended family

So I’m not really rich or even slightly rich but occasionally I go out to nicer end restaurants and I always make sure to be polite to the waiters and the servers, as well as anyone else who helps our table, and keep my order fairly short and sweet for this exact same reason, they’ve got a lot on their plate as it is no need for me to add more. Like they said in kingsmen “manners maketh man”

ETA: I’m just as polite at Applebee’s!

The richest client I ever had was often mistaken from one of the homeless population. I worked for a bank in Montana that had a large open lobby. We had fresh hot coffee all day long and actually also hot popcorn for reasons I've still never understood. We didn't go around asking people if they bank there everyone was allowed to help themselves. Often the homeless people would come in the winter get some coffee and read the newspapers that we had in the lobby just for somewhere to be that wasn't frozen. Amongst them was a little old lady who always wore hand knitted everything and had her little personal cart that she dragged around with her that had her knitting supplies in her shopping in it. Her name was Bonnie and I loved her to pieces and we would always exchange pleasantries and she would knit things for the homeless people and give them to them. We would chat about life etc. I knew her for 3 years before I realized she had 6 million in an account with us. Who did she have to prove anything to. She was a happy little old widow just looking for company

You know, I’ve been stumbling upon your videos in the shorts section of youtube. I have to say, observing behavior of a certain very wealthy man in my actual life (no relation), versus your adaptation. These shorts help me understand why wealthy people do what they do as long as you actually can observe it in real life. I know this seems vague, but on this platform, it really isn’t my place to discuss specifics. So if I had to assess your adaptation, I would say these truly are mostly correct. Very nice work.

Even the waiter could sense the really rich vibe coming from the guy and gave him the check instead,
It's not the dressing guys don't go dressing less now cause of this 😂
It's the manner, words and calmness

I'd like to write you a script on how rich vs really rich treat adult entertainers. The industry is flawed and kinda turbulent, but like every section of the service industry, it's easy to tell which customers are rich vs really rich. It's both hilarious and embarrassing watching "rich" guys get flustered/throw an adult temper tantrum when you say you don't care if they have money or not, and that the bouncer will see them out. A pleasent surprise I get every now and again is a massive tip from really rich guy because you made him feel like a person or told a good joke. Often times they tip well from the beginning, don't give any "constructive feedback" on your dancing, and generally don't flaunt wealth or talk about what they do for work.

It’s the difference between American and European wealthy… in America people really hate dressing nice, and in Europe people love it… I recently went to a place that was advertised as fancy in Palm Beach… everyone was dressed like trash, even though the average plate there was about $70-80…

I go to higher price restaurants a fair bit, but I always go in what’s comfortable because comfort while eating is far more important than looking nice while eating.

Not sure if it's intentional but I think it's a nice little detail that the rich guy opfted for the roast chicken while the really rich guy opted for the New York strip which is arguably more expensive. Sure anyone can argue that in some cases they may be close in price or it could just be a matter of preference, but it seems like a nice little detail that shows how wealth manifests itself not just in interpersonal behavior but also in terms of what people are readily willing to order when they eat out. Nuances aside -- sure Mr. Rich is all dressed up but it's likely he ordered the chicken because it was all he could afford and he had it deboned just to give the illusion of superiority.

On another note, always love your stuff Mr. Crowne! This is probably my all-time favorite skit of yours. 👌

What is a lapel exactly? I get that it's basically the suit's collar, but what purpose does it serve or is it just office peacocking?

I'm down with the medium rare but why not go with the ribeye? I find that it's just a better cut...
