Very nice idea I did it and I seen that it was exactly what you said one of the Rockers was not moving so the spring was messed up in the inside when I took the head apart

I had one of these trucks come into the shop with a dead #2 cylinder. The RPM drop test confirmed #2 wasn’t contributing. I checked for spark, it was good, i did static and running compression tests and it had plenty of compression. I replaced all injectors and that didn’t fix it. I noticed the valves were gunked up. I suspected the lifters or the dirty valves but why did it still have good compression? Idk. Never got any feed back from customer.

Have a ‘13 Silverado and getting P219A code.
Replaced upstream o2 sensors with denso
Cleaned mass air flow sensor
Replaced air filter
Two quarts of marvel mystery mix oil in gas

what keeps causing lifter to go bad replaced twice already

Did you have compression on the cylinder? I got a issue with a vehicle i have changed everything checked all the wiring have changed plugs wires and coils checked the injector its working properly changed couple sensors and throttle position sensor and still got missfire on cylinder 4 but only thing throwing me is it has good compression.

What if the lifers are moving an you changed everything an it's still misfiring?
