Here is how you can diagnose an engine that is running rough and is having a misfire, burning oil, running too lean or too rich, has advanced timing or a bad oxygen sensor and other diagnosis by simply looking at the spark plug.

When I was changing spark plugs way back at 30, 000 miles (and the ignition 'points') I looked at the condition of each spark plug.
Now in 2023 I have almost forgot about them!

So I did a compression test today on my 1995 VW, 184-190-185-185… engine looks good, checked spark plugs after watching this video, my plugs look good no bad gap but I do have the carbon look on all 4 of them .

I have in my entire life only put one of my vehicles in the shop twice. Neither time did they fix it. Still broke despite the $1200 spent to do what I had already done & informed the different shops of this in advance. Aside he's the best one I have found to help diagnose and fix your car or truck and doing yourself can save you a lot considering that I only paid $1500 for that vehicle $1200 wasted in the shops knowing nothing more than myself
