2015 Audi Q7 cylinder 3 misfire with cylinder deactivated. Will Clearing the codes reset the ecu to reactivate the cylinder? I have replaced the spark plugs, coils and the cylinder 3 fuel injector and still getting the same misfire code. What else could it be? I dont have a compression tester to test compression.

Replace plugs coils injectors check for spark have good spark when grounding it coil packs good got them off my good known running car cyl 3 misfire spark plug is carbon fouled all black and has soot compression test at 170 accross the board and leak down test pass with less then 5% leaksge

You think an EGR valve could be causing it? My 03 civic shakes/power pulses under load. All 4 cyl misfiring plus I have a P1491 code. I only get flashing CEL maybe once a week, at city speeds.

My town and country 2009 3.3 liter engine has a misfire cylinder 5 I replaced plugs wires and coil still misfire and rough idle but when I press on the gas pedal in park in runs smooth you wouldn't know something was wrong I've checked for vacuum did the propane thing and nothing changed it ran the same so I'm leaning towards fuel injector because it started running bad out of blue which I believe a piece of dirt or something clogged the filter or it's stuck open that wjy it runs good when I get over 2000 rpms I borrowed a compression tester from a friend so I'm going to do a compression test I did wide open throttle test it sounded pretty good but I'm gonna test it anyway it seems only to throw a code at startup since it happened I only drove it once for about 5 miles when I get up to speed it runs alright didn't throw a code but as soon as I shut the motor off and restart it throws a code in couple of minutes

I have a 303, 300, 305misfire…compression test says 3rd cylinder PSI 25…was told I need a new engine…are there any other options?

Hi! Have you find out what happened to this car? I have 01 accord and dead mis on cylinder 2. New coil, new sparks, cleaned all fuel injectors

Pull the spark plug wire if it doesn't change then that's the one no change in coil needed sheesh tell the folks the dam easy way. Never understood why people beat around the bush on here...
