Lee, the reason that his metal claws grow back is because in the comics, Adamantium is able to bond with whatever its bound to on a molecular level and take up the traits of what it was bound to. That means the metal in him is able to heal just like the rest of him, and thats what makes him so dangerous. As long as his skeleton survives, he can regrow, because his skeleton still holds his healing factor.

The most shocking thing about this theory is learning that Wolverine is only 5’3, making him the same height as me

Hi Lee, This has been explained in the comics, In the "Drowning Logan" story arc from Wolverine (vol. 5) #5 (June 2013), Wolverine is trapped underwater for an extended period, which puts immense strain on his healing factor and overall well-being. .Although Wolverine's healing factor is powerful enough to prevent him from dying, the prolonged submersion inflicts lasting damage. Awesome job taking over for MatPat, keep up the good work, he gets to hang out with his family, while you do all the hard work!

But didn’t Deadpool also end up underwater in Deadpool 2? He fell into ice-cold water and appeared to drown, but his healing factor revived him. So, it probably wouldn’t work for Wolverine either. The idea of Wolverine being in a loop of revival, as mentioned in the comics, seems somewhat valid..

Technically speaking, last time was about Deadpool, but i’m pretty sure it covered him too.

One flaw in this. You say whisky killed his healing factor because of Corn. But how do you know he's drinking bourbon? Corn is not a standard ingredient in whisky, only in Bourbon. It has been stated that his favorite whisky is Hibiki (japanese) and the japanese usually use Barley and not corn. We also see a fireball bottle in one scene in Logan, so assuming he drinks bourbon is not really suitable, since the man has taste. He'd probably drink Bourbon if it was offereras to him, but I double it'd be his first choice.

TLDR
Corn in whisky didnt stop his healing factor, because he didnt drink corn whisky.

I thought we already figured out the answer: just give him lots of whiskey.

In theory it is possible this does not work. This is because water has a very little amount of oxygen so he could still regenerate but to a smaller degree. This would mean that he might be able to survive.

In days of future past he literally drowned and was reviving constantly. He was under the eater for at least a few days. Plus you forget theres literally oxygen in water. Yes he wouldn't be able to absorb is through his lungs but his cells could still possibly get oxygen they need to keep him somewhat alive

Can we have a film theory on why Hello Kitty is not actually a cat.

Meanwhile here's me patiently waiting for that one Amazing World of Gumball theory about Alan's biology

2:25 This unironically might not work with the movie versions. We see Wolverine regenerating from Phoenix's attacks. The same attacks are described by the people making the film to be Existence Erasure, affecting people on a quantum and multi-dimensional level, trancending all rules of reality. Movie Wolverine and theoretical Deadpool could straight up just heal from the snap based on that description.

Edit: It wasn't a direct statement. It was the official novelization. This doesn't change anything, just fixing my source.

I think the only reason the metal killed him was because his healing factor was turned off with all the mutant suppression they were using in that universe at the time.

You got so much wrong. Possibly the worst thing being that all whiskey is made from corn.
