In this video, I discuss the 4 types of panic attacks.
Panic attacks are common, and I've realized over the years of working with clients that many people don't even know they have panic attacks.

That's because panic can show up in different intensities and at different times for people. So you might find it surprising that some people experience symptoms internally without outward, more known signs like hyperventilation and crying.

In this video, I'm going to talk about
1. We will discuss the different types of panic attacks and their symptoms.
2. The various places, people experience panic attacks
3. What causes someone to panic
4. And finally, how can you help yourself or a loved one through a panic attack

As soon as you said (in silent panic attacks) that you can feel nausea, or difficulty swallowing, I almost cried. No one told me that that could be what a panic attack was when I was initially experiencing them. So thank you for bringing the many, many symptoms to light. Also I really appreciate the 4 different types of panic attacks, because I can see that helping me to place each one, and communicate what’s going on better using it. You are awesome, thank you!

I actually once started having a panic attack while waiting in the waiting room for my therapy appointment. And when my therapist brought me into the room I was very out of it and my vision was all wonky and couldn’t answer stuff well she noticed basiclly right away something wasent right and tried distracting me

I'm so glad I came across this video. When you mentioned having panic attacks due to loud voices, that resonated with me so much. My panic attacks are triggered through family confrontation, like fighting and such. I absolutely hate it when my parents scream and make loud noises. However, I only suffer from generalized anxiety, so my panic doesn't come on all the time. I do have things that help me calm down from a panic attack, or just random bouts of anxiety. I might listen to soothing music, I might play my favorite songs, I might drink some soothing teas, I might hold my favorite weighted stuffed animals (they're called, Moon Pals), or I might just focus on my breathing for a bit. But even after a panic attack, I'm feeling exhausted, like I don't want to do anything else. I usually end up having loud panic attacks where I'm visibly shaking, hyperventilating, and crying. The panic box sounded interesting. Perhaps I should create something like that for any future panic attacks.

I am a PSW and I have panick attack at work when I'm with a very resistive resident or just going to a room that alarm is going off, for fear of what I'm about to find whether it's a fall. It comes on suddenly like if a resistive resident hitting me or a sudden scream. I know what it is and usually I'll try to walk away from the situation if I can. I also don't want my coworkers know I have an aniexty disorder. I often wonder how i manage to keep it together even though I'm experiencing a panic. Then this video explain so well about the silent, expected and unexpected panic attack.

When I had my first panic attack my friends just ran away it was a loud one. The teacher asked me if I was ok and I just said ‘I don’t know why I’m crying’ I was shaking, my heart was racing, I felt SOOOO nauseous and I collapsed. Having no one around me just made it so much worse. This was back in 2021. I’ve had around 20/25 panic attacks since then

Today I experienced my first panick attack, I was by myself and got scared and felt blurry vision and tingling feet and hands, I'm pretty healthy but was tired and moved to a new city and it's so hot here, also cried and couldn't breathe well thanks to front desk called 911 and they helped 😅

Guys can I have some help please, I genuinely don’t know if I have anxiety or depression. Here are some things that I know are common symptoms that I experience anywhere from twice a week to multiple times a day:
- fidgeting
- tensing up
- headaches
- lightheadedness, this is a big one for me, I drink enough water, but sometimes out of nowhere I’ll feel really lightheaded and dizzy especially at school
- intense sadness and anger (prolly just PMS tho)
- INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS
- digging my nails into my palms
- feeling disconnected from reality
- hyperventilating sometimes but I don’t think it’s that bad
-Kinda having like several personalities battling for control in my head sort of, so I kinda just wish I could get out of my brain

Reasons why I might not have anxiety or depression:
- I still feel happy sometimes
- Weird inability to cry, except when listening to music
- Nothing super awful is going on in my life right now
- No past trauma… I think… I have had 2 times in my life when I think I was depressed that prolly doesn’t count

Um anyway that was really long but thank you to anyone who takes the time to read it
