Very cool! its similar to the "trim sheet" Blender tutorials. Great for keeping poly count low!

I like small details, in blender animation you could model these but if you are making a game, this is life saver, or frame saver

also you can do this in workbench, workflow is just like this

you just put objects above plane and choose from matcap to normal, set a camera to orthographic (you might change values) then just press render)

Awesome... but how do you connect to material. Also, AO map ?!?

In tile size in performance set it to the resolution of the texture you're baking. In preferences/system make sure only the gpu is set. In the render tab in the properties on the right set the device to gpu and voila, you're baking fast on the gpu.

1) Low poly mesh
2) High poly mesh
3) Image texture (normal map) in Low poly mesh with NON-COLOR type
4) bake selected to active
