Hi! I just want to say I’m currently writing up my results for my dissertation and your videos have helped me immensely. You don’t only explain how to conduct the tests on spss but also explain how you would write them up including the formula in APA style which other videos don’t! I really appreciate your videos, thankyou for helping me out!

Good morning doctor David
Please, can you make a video on:
How to read, interpret and write the results of non-linear regression in SPSS??
Thank you
Best regards
Doctor Sameer

This was very helpful. Thank you so much. Can you suggest where we look to report the 'p' (the constant and the variable) in the last column of a simple regression table?

Do I need to indicate where in (Appendix) the marker can find the results of the SMLR results?

Hi David. I found a partial mediation in my study and I have been recommended by my supervisor to run a post-hoc analysis with a simple linear regression to further investigate the mediation effect. I have therefore run individual simple regressions: 1- X->Y, 2-X->M and 3-M->Y. Am I supposed to report the results in a particular way, because it's a post-hoc analysis? I also don't understand why I am running further tests if I have already run a Sobel test. Also, the r square in the regression analyses is very very low (e.g., .073) but they're all statistically significant. Is this really bad for my results?

Hi David, thank you for your great presentation.
When reporting, can I give the standardized coefficients beta instead of the B value? Like, you give the B=2.44 but if I give the other one with the greek symbol of beta as .96, is it ok too?

Hello, this is a great video. I have ended up with B = -.23, t = -3.45, p <. 002 and i am very confused as to what this means. Are you able to help please? The hypothesis is high levels of social anxiety predict disordered eating.

tyvm. as a nurse for 27 years going for her BSN im in my final week and Correlation and Regression are it. Can you please help with a study easy guide on what is most important to study for and how to write up results for correlations using Pearson 5 variables?

Was that written in the results section or discussion please? Is it necessary to include tables in the results or you can just write everything in text ?

If my Beta value is 0.54 and my R squared is 0.29, would it still be a significant predictor ?

Hallo Dr Robinson,

What do B = 2.44, t = 10.36, p ˂.001, say about the distance from campus and arriving late to lectures?

Won't you include its significant result? Isn't it necessary?
