I just got back from softball and my finger is purple/red and very swollen. there’s a cut from the ball too and I can’t move my finger, but my mom never believes me when I get hurt, I don’t know if it’s just a jam or something worse but I don’t know what to do.

I was trowing a football with my cousins and then my finger got hit pretty hard. I swelled (then went back down) but I still can not fully move it and it is tender and still hurts. Is it broken?

I was traveling and I went to the Hall of Fame in ATL, I tried to catch the football that was thrown at me and I hit my ring finger. I can bend it, however it can’t stays straight like my other finger. There’s a sharp pain still and it’s been for over 4 months. If I try to straighten it backwards, it hurts a lot. It’s like there’s a stiffness. At this point, I think it’s extremely fractured and I’ll need to get an X-ray cause the sharp pain is unbearable. If I put my hands under my head for a second, all the sudden, I get no circulation on that finger at all and the pain increases.

I have just had an x ray for a posible brocken finger they say there is no break what is the chances there is one but it is just is not visible on the x ray

So recently i fracture my middle finger a year ago which is my middle finger and it healed itself. So now the finger on the rightbside of my middle finger has been hurting recently and idk what to do. I feel a little pain in it at the tip end and it hurts every now and then and i believe i might if fractured that to. What do you recommend me to do if it is fracture and how to go about fixing it

loved this video! i fractured my right proximal phalanx (pinky finger) 2 days ago. xray showed spiral fractured, not really any displacement - seems to be healing well even after a couple days. do you have any experience with spiral fractures?

I have osteoporosis and I’m only 15 I recently believe I have broken a finger because it was pointed out the opposite direction after being hit with a basketball. It hurts like heck but Ican slightly move it.

I fell from my bike yesterday, my finger was bent inwards it turns red so I just went home and put some ice on it and it started to swallow really badly, i just thought it was just a influxean because I can move my fingers it still hurts but I can move it, so I went to sleep in the morning it swallow really bad and redesh blue and i could able to move my fingers, when i went and checked with the doctor he told the finger was broken inwards..

Thank you, but I have a question. I can move it a little bit but when I try to put my finger straight it has an arch and I can’t get it any further down, I’m thinking something may have popped out of place, but I don’t know much about this and your the doctor so I came to the comments.

Are the braces they sell at pharmacy's the same the doctor would use? I have no insurance so can't get an x Ray. It's not crooked anyways just hard to move swollen and bruised so not sure a brace is even necessary.

I went down a water slide and hit my pinky on the side but I can move it a little .and I hurt my self badly othertimes but my mom never brings my to the doctors

So my thumbs have been sore for about 9 months now, and it's been getting worse, but ever since I've been limiting thumb usage it's been getting better. However it still does hurt everyday, and there is a white dot on the thumb joints at the base of the thumb. I'm 15 btw, not sure if that helps but yeah. Do you know what it could be? If so what should I do besides limiting usage, is there any extra steps I should take? And what's a sign I should see a doctor? It's movable, no black or blue, just a white dot, and some pain, and more pain when using it or putting pressure on it
