I dont fast however I just think its important to note the Doc isnt telling anyone not to fast. He's simply saying the science shows training after your body is fed is more beneficial for you that training on an empty stomach.

My only question would be does this include running ? I know running onna full stomach can sometimes have reflux effects.

That also depends on what you eat if you don’t train fasted. I can be fasted and someone could have ate something that didn’t digest or metabolize before they went to the gym and their strength isn’t any better than mines all because of what they ate so that all depends

I'm curious, you say at night, but what about waking up? I usually work out and then eat afterward, so naturally, Im in a fasted state. Does this only apply to a 24-hour fast, or should I be drinking a protein shake or something before I go?

if your purpose is health, you shoul train in fasted state
