"The war is over."

"So now there's gonna be peace!"

"..."

"There's gonna be peace, right?"

I missed what was supposed to be the final premiere this last weekend but I really wanted this series finished in April so instead we're going to have a midweek release. Apologies to those of you who would have liked to catch the finale live but now can't make it.

Thanks for all of your support throughout this project. Hoping to get another video out this weekend, which will either be the first instalment in the periphery mini-series, or the compilation video of the entire Second Succession War.

The fact that the peace talks took SEVEN WEEKS and amounted to basically nothing is just heartbreaking.

Absolutely amazing work as always!

This series has been FANTASTIC! Thanks so much, Sven, for all your work. It has been amazing...and while this is the ultimate chapter in the Second Succession War, I am hoping that you will do the Third and Fourth eventually! Until that point, I guess I'll have to content myself by going back and rewatching all the preceding Chapters...AGAIN... 😁

The star league civil war series is among the best battletech content on YouTube.

I love the idea of the meeting chair at 18:35 is the same guy every single time throughout history just face palming through every ridiculous petty argument that goes no where and never resolves anything. Also sven— absolutely love your series and bravo on this project it was fantastic and so relaxing to listen to

"We really need to end this war, ask the others for a peace treaty... but they'd better name me First Lord of the Star League or else!" - Michael Davion

Meanwhile in the Deep Periphery...

Clan Coyote has perfected Omnimech technology and the Jade Falcons become the first Clan to succeed in a trial of possession to acquire it, ending a decade of the Coyotes running rough-shot throughout the Kerensky Cluster

Histories of major Mercenary units would be cool.

You asked for feedback.
You videos are a joy and I look forward to them.
I'm no video expert, so what you are doing seems awesome to me.
I've been following.
Now I'm backing.
Keep it up!

Wait is it already time? We’ll set a timer, prepare the popcorn and see the probably most chaotic peace conference that ever existed 😂 later tonight. Hype.

Here's some feedback: I loved it. You've got better in all ways, stop beating yourself up over what you've done before and revel in the triumphs you're creating now.
Your work is THE source for Battletech in my eyes and I wait with baited breath for what will come.

Thank You.

I'm a strong believer in the principle "we get more of what we subsidise". Thanks for your work on the Second Succession War.

I wonder if ROM had to even lift a finger to cause those peace talks to break down.

Another fantastic series Sven, looking forwards to your next project!

War aint got time to wait for weekends, Tuesday it is!

Thanks for all the effort you do Sven, this whole series has been incredible, resourceful, and will stand for a long time as the hallmark of taking something that might be considered unknowable to anyone except deep lore divers and instead has introduced it into something anyone who enjoys this universe can enjoy and for that, we all owe and thank you

Edit: will say, the music seemed abit too upbeat for /just this episode/, overall been great, but the final number reads and world counts, thinking about the deaths of billions, the lost languages and cultures, the entire storylines of humans concurrent for hundreds of generations played with a track i would expect to be playing when listing battlemech statistics.

Also: do whatever you need to stay away from burnout! Take a VERY well deserved break!!!

Thank you so much for all the work you put into this series, it’s great and hugely appreciated! I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit! Honestly you’ve captured not only the details but the hopeless grinding tragedy of it all. Before the succession war series I was genuinely a pretty firm believer in picking one of the great houses and being a patriot fighting for your county. But after seeing all this I start to see why so many both players and characters in the world were just disenchanted with the houses. It feel like a massive bloody waste for nothing. Which makes me understand why so many players prefer their own mercenary units. It it helps me understand how so many people could turn to groups like Comstar or even the Clans without much resistance. Also reaffirms my love for the Periphery!

On that note! Thank you for considering doing a video on the periphery and especially for one of the Aurigen Reach! I wish that they would make it fully canon, I love that Battletech game and I enjoy the lore. It would very much cool seeing you do a video on it.
