A little side project I threw together to tide things over until the Second Succession War compilation video is finished. Feels kind of strange to see 3022 on the thumbnail. After 2.5 years, we've almost reached the beginning.

Also in this miniseries, I would like to look at the many bandit kingdoms on the coreward edge of the Inner Sphere, an episode on the Marian Hegemony and rebirth of the Circinus Federation, and another on the deep periphery Hanseatic League plus neighbouring Nueva Castile/Umayyad Caliphate.

In regards to that last one, if anyone has a copy of IP3: Interstellar Expeditions and would like to help me with my scripts, let me know. I'm missing that book myself and I always prefer to check the actual source rather than relying on Sarna alone.

I love seeing lore on the lesser known groups around the periphery since the great houses and clans take so much of the oxygen in the room. Independent systems, pirate states, deep periphery nations need more love!

In reality, given the upheavals of the BT universe, the problems of interstellar communication, and the generally feudal rule of many planets, there should be dozens of pocket states like Aurigan or St. Ives, not an almost unbroken lineage of 5 (or six) major states. The internal dynamic of Aurigan is actually more what you would find throughout history.

Hey Sven. This is less a response to this specific video and more to your work overall, i hope that's acceptable.

I don't remember exactly when it was all recommended to me, at some point during your opening Star League founding series, but i am so glad it was, ever since i've listened religiously every week for new releases, and it has reignited a very old facination with the BT universe that even the 2018 game didn't quite manage. I know you said at the end of a previous video that you are embarrased by a lot of your earlier work, and while i get it, maybe it helps that i find it compelling and solid enough that i'm on my 6th relisten now because it's engrossing enough to keep me going for long drives or late night sessions?

Anyway, rambling aside, for what it's worth, this Norwegian is very grateful for your effort, and can't praise it enough. :)
