· Improved blood sugar control: Sprouted grains have a lower glycemic index than un-sprouted grains, meaning they won’t cause a spike in blood sugar levels. This makes them a great option for people with diabetes or anyone looking to manage their blood sugar levels.

Just rinse and soak 1 cupful grains for 6-12 hours, and place them in a clean cotton cloth. Twice a day, rinse and drain the grains. And store them in the refrigerator once they have sprouted.

1 cup sprouted wheat grains
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup chopped nuts like almonds and walnuts
1/4 cup any dried fruits like dates or raisins
1-2 tablespoons honey

In a pan, combine the sprouted wheat grains, water, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the sprouted wheat grains are tender and the mixture has thickened. Stir in the chopped nuts and dried fruit. Serve with honey to sweeten it.

They are good indeed. I regularly consume mung, broccoli and rapeseed sprouts. Mix with grated carrot, avocado dices, wakame seaweed, grated kurkuma + black pepper and extra virgin olive oil.
