Dahlias are fantastic tender bulbs to plant and enjoy in the garden. They also make gorgeous additions to homemade cut-flower arrangements! Watch this video with Noelle, Horticulturist and Education Director with Petitti Garden Centers, and Jason, Petitti team member and gardening expert, as they give tips for getting the most out of your Dahlia blooms this season. We recommend cutting stems first thing in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler and at a 45 degree angle. Remember, Dahlias will not continue to bloom once cut, so be sure you're cutting fully mature blooms to enjoy indoors!
