Thank you Noelle for all of the information and ideas of what we can plant to add color & vibrancy to the garden. Garden Phlox Jeanna, Crocosma, and Autumn Joy and the list goes on. I was thinking about adding Coneflowers but we have clay soil even though amended but pieces are finally breaking down. Don't think I will purchase coneflowers yet because as you mentioned they do not like clay soil. Also, had wanted to add Hostas in a shaded area but as you know always best to wait until Fall. You always mention such valuable information as we're always constantly learning. Have a wonderful day & I wonder if you have a favorite garden flower? There are so many beauties! Take good care& thanks again. 🌻

The deer had a plan to delay blooming when they chomped off most of the buds on my sedum.

Thank you for these videos! I especially like hearing gardening advice that is specific to our area. Question: I want to raise the soil level of a flower bed because of soil compaction and poor drainage. If I add thick layers of compost, do I need to dig up the existing perennials first and then replant? Or can I just add compost and mulch layers around them? Can I do that at this time of year?

Good video but can you fix the lighting? It was so dark at times I couldn’t see the detailed plants. Thank you 😊 ❤
