On previous videos I showed you how to export data from Power to sharepoint using a button inside a power bi report, but many of you are wondering if it possible to do the export without user's interaction and the answer is YES! Check this video to learn how to do it and I will also show you how to do export it to one drive too.

awesome work, this helped a lot!

My query was giving me date columns that contain a value such as "2022-11-30T00:00:00"... for no reason as that was never the format. But I see Power BI does this, even with SELECTCOLUMNS. So I ended up just using SELECTCOLUMNS instead like this: SELECTCOLUMNS(_myTable, "Date", FORMAT([Date], "MM/DD/YYYY"))

HI! Thanks i really needed it. Can you make a video of an automatic export of Power BI Data but adding the data at the end of an existing csv file?

Hi Ruth-- this is just what i needed and i have combined it with your next video to clean up the headers. What i would like to do next is write the date/time into each row in the CSV- can you give me direction on this?

Thanks Ruth! Is it possible to export measures as well? Or only columns?

I must have missed run query option in power automate. I was resorting to first creating paginated report and exporting that as csv.
Very neat. It will make my life so much easier!
By the way, you may not need create csv table step. At least when I was expoting paginated report, I could use it as content in the create output file step.

Informative video Ruth! Thank you. Quick question, do you know how to change the name of the column headers so that they don't have the table name?

Great video as always... I can barely keep up with your pace of releasing videos for people's learning.
Please, do yo have any similar video to this one that demonstrates how to run Oracle SQL Query against existing Power BI table columns data (i.e. using the columns as inputs in your SELECT statement), and then do Automatic exports as demonstrated in this video?

Is there a default option that would append the csv to an existing csv on a regular basis? Instead of writing a new file or replacing, I would want to append to one csv continually.
