Power BI - Export Financial Reports to Excel is finally here! (short)

Starting from version 7 of the Financial Reporting Matrix, you can export your visual with all layouts, formatting, font and background colors and row hierarchies to Excel!

This is a feature we know many of you have waited for!

*Export to Excel is a Premium feature that requires a paid license.

In order to download from custom visuals, you need to turn on a setting in your Power BI tenant. Send this to your Power BI admin if you don't have admin rights yourself:

We have a couple of questions about your subscription and would appreciate your assistance:

1.If a license is purchased, can we download an income statement or balance sheet in the same layout as in Power BI, or is additional configuration needed once downloaded?
2.If a license is purchased, is it applied to one user only? How is it assigned (e.g., based on an email address)?
3.Regarding the mention of a free trial, can it be canceled if it does not meet our current requirements?
4.Are your subscriptions offered on a month-to-month basis, or are they only available yearly?
We would love to test your product to check if it meets our criteria.

Hi Profitbase Team,

I have activated the Profitbase Excel download feature. However, I am concerned that users without a license will not be able to see the visual at all.

My intention is to provide a license to only one user for downloading purposes, while allowing the rest of the users to still view the visuals as before, without the option to download in the same format.

From my understanding, the person who publishes the report must have a license, and then only users with a license can download the file, while the rest can still view it without a license. Can you please confirm if this is correct?

Good day, thanks for the update. Is there an option to refresh the data in Excel? Or do you have to download it every time you go on to power bi service ?
