The TW200 is no joke. During my motorcycle class I outpaced everyone but that’s not because I was learning faster, it was because the TW200 was doing the riding for me. I thought to myself “this is NOT a beginner bike, I should really go for the Turbo Busa instead”. Low and behold, I’m bored with the Turbo Busa, chasing that first feeling when I rode the TW200.

In all seriousness the TW200 is actually a really good bike, highly recommend it.

The DR650 is my bike of choice. Lighter than the KLR by a large margin and just as reliable.

lovin the shift in content. Hope this ends up working well for the brand, I'd love to see this type of content make a more regular appearance on the Yammie channel.

I mean... i'd pay good money to see a set of knobbies on a TurboBusa just to see what it can do...

My first bike was the DRZ. And I have gotten that bike places that a lot of people with "SEND IT" stickers on their YZ450's won't go. It's heavy, but it's a very capable bike.
Infact the reason I chose the DRZ is that it's the choice of the Australian Army and our national park rangers aswell. And if anyone knows rugged terrain it's those guys.

HONDA CB500X! I have owned this bike for almost 6 months and can take it anywhere. A little heavier than those on this list but I have not had a problem tossing it around (I am 6'2" 200lb tho). Such a great motorcycle to learn everything on.

Love my KLR 650. I’ve had it just over 100mph with a 16 tooth. It’s a expedition bike. It should be in its own category. She’ll go anywhere you’re brave enough to take it. Most importantly, she’ll get you home at the end of the day.

Tw200 was the 2nd bike I ever rode when I was taking my MSF course. The wide nobby rear tire and it’s retro styling really make it stand out from other motorcycles so much. You’re making me want one again Yam

I absolutely love seeing this kind of content on the channel!! I've said it before on this channel, but the entire reason I got into riding was Because watching your videos finally convinced me to do what I had been wanting for years! Living in Colorado, getting a duel sport only made sense! I have loved the few months I got to ride my new crf300l before the snow really set in! Seeing content makes me feel a lot more at home watching videos of rides I can relate to rather than always seeing road or track videos!

Honda CB 500 X for $6, 699 usd. Sure, you have to add a skid plate, brush guards, radiator guard, luggage rack, and panniers which will set you back another $2000. But man! What a great bike.

The Australian version of the TW200 is the AG200. Same engine and frame but you would not know it is the same bike. They still have the kickstarter although it is electric start also, and a carry rack on the back that can balance a bale of hay. They don't sell used because they are a farm bike and you run it until you kill it in 20-30 years.

Jeremy McGrath's coach had him practice on a XR 100, a lesson we should all remember.

TW 200 is a god status bike. It won’t get you there fast but it will always get you there. It’s not meant to go off road, but rather to go off trail.

I rode sportbikes for years and wanted to get into the dual sport scene. I purchased a new 22 KLX300. This bike is awesome. I have 9" Delkevic plus the EJK tuner installed and the bike can do it all. Single track no problem and cruising at 70mph on freeway no problem.

I enjoy my RE Himalayan off-road far more than on road but it seems relatively comparable and able to keep up with the lot of the budget bikes for a beginner adv bike.

Papa will make any excuse to talk about the DRZ.

Interesting list...the great thing about the Harley is that you will definitely be most likely to have an adventure on when it fails or falls over...lolol
