Say you lost your remote key fob and had to order a new key fob. Does this work with a new key fob vs an existing key fob where you just changed the battery?

Hi, with a bit of tweaking this worked well for a 2013 Toyota Camry with smart entry. I had replaced the batteries in both remotes and found your tutorial which was a great place to start. Thanks heaps.

Hi one of my two 2013 Honda City key fob, even though the battery is new, isn't unlocking/locking the car, what could be the combination to program it (the red light on the key fob lights) so the frequencies are the same? My other key fob is working.

It worked with one key but not the other. Both batteries are new, just replaced. Could it be that one battery is bad?

This video seems to good to be true...I Have a Volvo 2004 XC70 and this video is using a Volvo to demonstrate the process, YAY! However, I have a question: I have the original Keyfob with the cut key. I also have a new keyfob without a cut key (Meaning I can't insert this new key/fob into the ignition). OK I want to program the new key fob. Do I insert the old key fob into the ignition and turn it off and on 3 times while holding the New Key FOB Lock Button??? Basically, I think that the key fob is being programmed wirelessly and holding the Lock button on the new remote will have that key fob programmed??? This is unclear in the video and hopefully someone can confirm. Thank You In Advance!
