Check for cracks between the ribs (sucking air) in the air intake hose. Especially if it's behind the mass airflow sensor.

If you want your car to last 400, 000 miles start it and let it run for 5 minutes before you first drive it during the day. Make sure the fluids are warm and running through it. Of course also do the common maintenance on it.
