Femke Bol and Sydney McLaughlin Levrone are two great competitors on track. They will likely face each other in 2024 and it will be so interesting to see their rivalry this year.

Before everyone goes off the rails, they MAY not meet unless it is a Diamond League Meet; Sydney has said she may concentrate on the 400 flat and probably 4x4 relay in Paris, but who knows as her Coach Bobby Kersee never shows his cards, as for Femke it is pretty well set as she has stated several times that she is a hurdler and will concentrate on the hurdles and relays in Paris, so will they meet? Possibly but we will have to wait.

Femke Bol is a beautifully talented athlete. She has been racking up some good times indoors. Hopefully she'll pull back a bit before the summer games. I think Sydney is conserving herself. She's a smart cookie. We don't even know which event she plans to run (400 hurdles or open 400 meters). Rest assured she'll be ready. Femke will be ready too for outdoors. I can't hardly wait. These women are just viciously competitive. I love it.

Bol is improving, but as of now, she isn't a threat to Sydney and I wish people would just stop making it seem like these two have neck and neck races. Congratulate Bol for continuing to improve, but leave it at that. She has the potential to break the world record of she keeps going, but right now she isn't the better runner by far. The Olympics is right around the corner so she has the chance to perform and who knows what will happen. Just don't put her in a category that she isn't in YET...
