I believe the most dominant athlete right now is Armand Duplantis, who is competing for Sweden, won his second gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics on Monday, finishing with a height of 6.25 meters — breaking a world record that Duplantis himself had set nine times during his career. 9 TIMES

I took a props bet that has Bol breaking the previous world record while Sydney simultaneously sets a new one to win gold. Gonna be a hell of a race.

Are you people mad because you can't run like these ladies, so you have negative comments for one or the other? They are both fantastic athletes and bring great excitement to the track and field crowd. They bring the best out in each other. Great for track and field fans.

Femke Bol is the best thing that happened to Sydney, there’s nothing like healthy competition to keep pushing your limits.

Femke Bol has the smoothest running form ever.

The finals are going to be epic but I think Sydney is going to break the world record again.

From the Netherlands, from an outspoken Femke Bol fan, thank you so much for this presentation! Yes, we should look at Sydney with awe and respect! She is the most dominant on the outdoor 400m hurdles run. We are all looking forward how she and our Femke will handle this affair. May the best runner win. See you all tomorrow, when it happens.

Femke Bol is almost as good as Anna Cockrell, almost 😂

This rivalry has officially heated up! 🔥🔥🔥I expect Sydney to win Gold, but Bol is going to push her A LOT more than people thought just a few weeks ago. Bol has looked INCREDIBLY relaxed in every race so far....Epic race, and likely WR, coming up in the Women's 400M HH!

I don't see this as a "fierce" rivalry. How could anyone be fierce when it comes to Femke Bol? She's too chirpy for that. It's more a healthy rivalry, and we desperately need them in athletics. Things like this transcend national backing, like Karston Warholm and Mondo Duplantis. You just love watching these athletes and hoping they do well.

Probably the most dominant athlete right now is Mondo right? The pole vaulter.

Bol vs Mccloughlin Levrone is the race of the year. The big winner is the spectator. I'm cheering for Femke :)

Now Sydney finally take the fight. If you never run, you are always fit to win. Strange way to say she is a sporter, if you are never there. If she win from Femke, she can say she is the best and let her run more. This looks like nothing. Only when you want. With Femke running every year more than a second faster than the year before that, I want to see who wins

I'm so hyped that I'm almost guaranteed to be disappointed lol. At this point I just expect WR and 2x <51s. Which might happen! But it's stupid to expect PB from both of the world 2 best athletes in their sport.

I don't think we know how fast either of these women can run. And if they don't go for a tactical race tomorrow I believe the 50s barrier will be broken, no matter who wins.

They've been running without opposition since they last met in 2021 in Tokyo. While SML has broken WRs in the 400m hurdles, Bol broke the 1982 400m Indoor record of Jarmila Kratochvílová last year and improved on it this year

Sydney's about to run a 49.40. Mark it down. She just JOGGED her old WR in the semis. She's in otherworldly shape. And she's only 24.

Even though most probably Sidney will win according to many. I believe in you Femke. Even with a second place for me you are by far the best Dutch athlete. 🎉🦁
