What the Gospel requires vs what the Gospel produces

rashawnjones

Faith in Christ alone is what saves, , , , and then we should walk in the spirit according to Paul...However, if we walk in the flesh we will not produce good fruit, but we are still saved...Every Christian produces different amounts of fruit--there is no way to quantify or qualify that..salvation is based on our faith in the Gospel...not our performance....

Hyper grace is a heck of a drug:

Romans 3:5-8 “But, ” some might say, “our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn’t it unfair, then, for him to punish us?” (This is merely a human point of view.)Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world?“But, ” someone might still argue, “how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?”And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, “The more we sin, the better it is!” Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.

Jude 1:3-4;18-19 Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people.I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires. These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them.

Titus 2:11-15 For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when necessary, so don’t let anyone disregard what you say.

When you get that revelation of the VICTORY/POWER we have over sin in Christ because of JESUS resurrection then this type of theology becomes just another excuse for people to live in sin. We all fall short but WE are victorious and overcomers in CHRIST alone.

I grew up in this movement, it produces exactly what you would think. Huge churches filled with drift wood.

Is it basically (speaking of Free Grace Theology not myself) - I am saved by grace and I can do what I want ('do what thou wilt')? If that is what they believe, what happened to 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Ephesians 4:22-24? What is the point of grace if we can still be the unregenerate person we were before? They are very confusing.

@Kdubtru  You're still preaching a work based salvation. "Works don't prove salvation they're just involved" we see straight through your implications, do you not? What does involved imply? You're still saying salvation involves works. Your subjective stance on Ephesians 2:10 counts for nothing, you don't get to say when and what good works are objectively and run with it as fact. How much good work is enough evidence of salvation regardless of your subjective definition of what a life of good works looks like? The answer is none, Romans 4:5, but you don't know a man's thoughts, the good work they do by not doing the sinful thoughts they have that you would never know they have only God knows what good works every one does both in action and inaction on sinful desires you would never know another person is thinking because you're not capable of that. You cannot judge something you do not have a full perspective on, which in this case would be access to the mind of the person you are accusing of not having enough good works. You can't even see them all. Again, you cannot see none of the good works done in inaction on sinful desires by a person. Repent (change your mind) and believe in the Lord Jesus and His FINISHED work on the cross, no works "involved" like you said. This false teaching you are preaching condemns all the people who believed in the Lord Jesus in the last minutes of their life by saying works are "involved" which equates to saying if there's no works "involved" then there was no salvation, the Bible says that's a lie and those people were saved on their deathbeds here in Romans 4:5:

Romans 4:5 5However, to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Oh this was a good video for sure. I always thought free grace just meant what the five Solas say. This is just not right now that it is explained 😭

To my understanding to truly be saved is to truly believe and have faith in Jesus.
Being saved and knowing that Jesus died for your sins, you would then try to live as sinless and as godly as possible.
Yes your sins won't be counted but that doesn't mean you can and should sin

At the least, the believer needs to have SOME interest in becoming Christ like. If a believer isn't interested in that, I suspect that's not a believer. That said, scripture does indicate that some believers will get to heaven having no reward - Paul refers to that believer entering heaven after walking through a wall of fire.

Hi. I'm a little confused. I do believe when someone gets saved, they will have a desire at some point to apply works but what if a person accepted Christ right before they got into a fatal car accident. Mind you they didn't have time to apply any works after they received the Holy Spirit, I would think they would still go to Heaven or am I incorrect? I'm not trying to be smart but now you see the frame of mind I'm in. I don't know what camp I should be in. But in general, I don't believe that we are supposed to just run free not applying any works for the Lord after we get saved.

So what is the gospel message that we must believe to be saved today?

My question is; Who is doing the work? Is it the Spirit that is working in you on the behalf of you and others, or is it you doing the work. If it is the latter, you are believing a heresy.

what? just read it???? Reading doesn't mean that you understand it! 8:12. ; you already misrepresent 'free grace" you misunderstood it. You did not understand the same as free grace understood of what you just said on the third phrases 7:31
Maybe you don't know free grace there's verities of it. meaning not all free grace have the same concept of Salvation. it involves Hipper grace that has an issue of antinomianism... You need to be specific.
You misunderstood it, The Layman's Seminary" is a free grace but not hipper grace.

Could you look at oneness vs trinitarian? I go to church where some people are trinitarian and some are oneness. I don’t believe it is a salvation issue as I know true born again men of God who have had each view.
