This is very hard to do when you have a child with the woman. I was dumped by what I thought was the love of my life and she was an adoptee with an immense amount of emotional baggage that I had to deal. Not that I was perfect but I was an amazing, patient partner in a lot of ways. We have a 3 yr old daughter and being a single father is ROUGH.

It can be true. But there are some nuances. I can speak only about my experiences of course. I never had problems in getting women even if I never chased them.. I was quite popular I would say.The problems often started when I was in a relationship. I was supernice and my kindness was often mistaken for weakness. Even if I am not weak at all. I had an excellent career and more than one time I risked my life in order to save people in danger. My problem was that, I always deeply respected women by default, and I thought as a man I should not pay too much attention to their rants and antics .The result was that my ex wife made me live in hell. When I left her she was schocked. She told me : " I never tought you had the balls to leave me". Now I learned that respect must be earned. But I am still supernice. With people who deserve it.
